Sydney's finest purveyor of gross techno Justin Renn aka No-Fi graces the Urban Cowboy catalog with his latest release, 'GEHENNA'.

Named after the valley adjacent to Jerusalem in the Bible, where the bodies of criminals were thrown in an eternal fire. Fittingly this tape is also fire, with hissing, demonic beats and acidic licks holding you tight while you dance to ignore the world burning around you.

If I took excerpts from this EP and uploaded it to Youtube under a title like "SOUNDS OF HELL DISCOVERED" people would believe it. Among these hellscapes, no-fi.wav serves loop after loop of heavy, mechanical beats drenched in the kind of tape destruction that would make Brian Eno shit his stupid pants to death.

If you find no joy in your life apart from the unhealthy warmth of industrial techno tapes, this release is for you.
